I've always dreamed of taking the girls to Disneyland. They are finally at an age where they can get excited and really love all the exciting things the theme park has to offer. Avril is obsessed with anything Princess, and McKel loves whatever her sister loves, so I knew they would be bubbling over with excitement to get to go to Disneyland.
Through my employer, Chase, we get an employee discount on Disneyland tickets. I went ahead and ordered enough for the girls and I, as well as my parents. Having help out with the girls on a trip such as this is definitely appreciated. It was exhausting, but fun!
We spent 3 whole days there, with the park hopper pass, which meant we could go to Disneyland and California Adventures. Most of the time was spent at Disneyland though, there was just way too much to see to do it all!

| On the drive down to Cali we stopped at this authentic Mexican food place in Las Vegas. In-N-Out Burger had a line out the door so we opted for a less crowded dining spot. The girls had more fun running and goofing around than eating the Mexican food. |

| We stayed at a hotel right across the street from Disneyland, which meant we got to see the fireworks from our room every night! |

| Next we went to watch the Princess show. The kids got to sit on the floor and watch a live reenactment of Rapunzel. Avril was really timid around the characters, but also very intrigued. |

| I couldn't believe how much Flynn Rider looked like the actual character, Flynn Rider! The girls weren't sure what to think of being so close to these strange characters. They were both super shy. |

| We waited in line to get to meet Minnie Mouse, and go inside her house. The girls take a little relaxing break inside, after all that waiting in line. |

This is the cutest video ever, a must see! Over at California Adventures they had a band playing some music and McKel was showing off her sweet dance moves in front of everyone. We all got a kick out of it. I tried to catch some of it on this video.

| We also couldn't drive all the way to Cali without stopping at the beach for awhile. The girls found this car ride on the Santa Monica pier, and couldn't wait to hop in. |

| Probably the most excited I've ever seen the girls is when they are at the beach. They LOVED running and jumping in the waves, and finding sand crabs buried in the sand. They could not get enough of the beach, even though it was overcast and the water was freezing, they didn't even care, it was nonstop pure joy for them. |

When we finally got back home from our vacation, the girls could not wait to see the next door neighbor, Sierra. I let them go knock on her door and see if she was available to play. Here is a video of them being silly on the little trampoline:
I'm so glad we got to take the trip to Disneyland, it was a total blast for the girls, and they never stop talking about it. Mommy was glad to be back and get to see her sweetheart again. Hopefully we can take another trip someday to the happiest place on earth! :) Thank you Nana and Papa for joining us!
