Halloween morning! The kids are excited to dress up and get treats! Avril had a special Halloween parade at her kindergarten that mommy got to attend. McKel went to daycare but ended up being sent home due to a high fever :( poor girl.

This year we headed up to Aunt Trish's neighborhood for a Halloween parade and Trick-or-Treating. Poor McKel seems to always get sick for special occasions. She was heartbroken at the thought of not going trick-or-treating. As I was getting dressed to leave with Avril, McKel, still quite feverish, got out of her bed and put her clothes on, came in to my bedroom, and said, "mommy, I want to go to the pawty (party)." I just couldn't say no to that sweet little voice. So I decided to put her in the stroller with a blanket and take her out to enjoy the festivities. It's a good thing I did, because that girl pushed through her sickness and participated in every activity, despite her weakened state. She is one tough girl. Nothing gets in the way of her having fun!
