Halloween

This year for Halloween we had an Elsa and a Captain America.  I didn't get the girls for the holiday, but we still dressed up for school and activities with friends.
Avril was so excited to wear her new Elsa dress
And here is my Captain America girl
they make quite the pair
We went to a Halloween festival on campus with Sara and Matthew.  The girls were all about games and more candy!

silly string spray
too much fun
Avril tries it out
And of course, the Halloween parade at Avril's school:
fun to see all the costumes
then on to Sara's house for some pumpkin carving!

Halloween Dance Show

Oh, how I love to watch the girls perform.  How can you not just melt at the cuteness?  I got to watch the girls at their Halloween dance show, and it just made me happy.  Great job, girls!

Here are a few more classroom photos I stole from Avril's class facebook page.  They are always doing so many fun activities.  I'm so glad she gets to go to such an amazing school.  This girl loves to learn...

Building the Shed - AND Ali's Demo of the bathroom....

First things first.  Since we were moving Mike from a giant, spacious home, to a teeny tiny one, we were in desperate need of some storage space.  Mike tackled the project of building a shed.  I have no idea how he knows how to do these things.  He just went to Home Depot and bought all the wood and started knocking it out.  Its nice having a handy husband, I'm not gonna lie.  Here are some pics from the shed being built, and the close-to final product.
All I can say is WOW
That's my man
progress
Perfection
Amazing job, babe.  I LOVE YOU!
I can now cross this off my bucket list! Ali doing demo. I've always wanted to do this. Getting out my frustrations :) therapeutic. Awesome!

Finally - Home Owners!

After quite a long ordeal, we finally closed on our properties.  Mike found a buyer for his home in South Jordan, and we bought the 2 duplexes.  One is an investment property and the other is to live in while we can hopefully save some money.  Marsha was our real estate agent and she was actually quite wonderful to work with.  We weren't wanting to use an agent, but we did like her.  Anyway... exciting and a big deal for us :)
