My Mini Mike

 Keenan is pretty lucky to have a dad who loves him so much.  He is a little clone of his dad.  It is adorable.  I mean, just look:

Happy Birthday to Avril!! She's 8!

This little girl is growing up too quickly.  She is such a creative, smart, thoughtful little girl.  She loves to play with her friends, do gymnastics (especially bars), do anything art-related, write nice notes to people, and find treasures outside.  Learning comes easily to her and she does excellent work academically.  She likes to look nice and is already at the stage that she tries to dress to impress!  She knows just the right words to say to you to make your heart melt.  She is my 8 year old sweetheart.
This morning I got up early to make her favorite breakfast - beet waffles!  The beets give the waffles a nice, red coloring, and you don't really notice the beet taste.  We added some candles and sang to her, which made her morning.  Happy Birthday, sweetheart girl!!

Flooring!

Keenan loves to try on hats.  But only try them on.  Then he takes them off.  He looks adorable in them though.  He points to his dad's hat that is hanging up and then puts it on his head and you have to quickly snap a photo because as soon as it is on it is off!
Mike has still been working hard at the duplex.  He started putting in the tile floors and they look pretty awesome so far!

Balloons!

The girls got such a kick out of blowing up these balloons and watching Keenan squeeze the air out.  Keenan is just fascinated with - well, everything really... but balloons are definitely a favorite!
I sure do feel lucky to have these adorable little ones.

McDonald's with the Grandparents

Every other Sunday I drive up to Ogden to pick up the girls from nana and papa, who are delivering them to me from Jesse.  This gives them a chance to see the girls for a bit, and makes it so that I don't have to drive all the way up to Logan to get the girls.  Our meeting spot is the McDonald's right off the freeway.
This time I brought Keeney baby with me.  Keeney baby has the ability to make pretty much anyone smile.  Papa sure enjoyed getting to hold his grandson!

Keenan also very much enjoyed eating some McDonald's french fries!

So we went to IHOP for breakfast and got such a kick out of Keenan staring at the little girl baby at the booth across from us, so naturally we had to snap some photos.  It was hilarious.  Keenan was so intrigued by the little girl baby:

Teaching Art in McKel's Class

So I volunteered to teach a couple of art classes in McKel's kindergarten class.  I came up with the idea to read a story about fish and make these paper plate fish.  It turned out to be quite fun.  We taped up the finished fish in front of the room and made a giant fish (this went along with the story).  McKel was so happy to have her mommy there.  That's the real reason I do this kind of thing.

 I also drove by our lot that we are almost the owners of... I wanted to see if we are able to get a view so I climbed up one of the trees there and took a pictures.  It looks like we may be able to get a bit of a view - if only we could get rid of those telephone poles!!

Stuff Is Happening...

Mike has been putting a lot of hours in to this duplex renovation project and it is starting to show.  Look at all the progress being made:

Still lots to do, but it should be done in time for the new renters.  They are moving from New York and are very excited to see the updates.  Can't wait for them to see it.  What a hard working man I married!

At Home With Dada

Keeney gets to spend lots of time with his dada.  Since Mike picks him up from the babysitter around 3 and I don't get off work until after 5 usually, they get to have some nice bonding time.  I love when I get adorable pictures sent to me while I'm at work.  Here are a few that Mike captured that make my heart melt 💗
