Avril's First Day of Kindergarten!!

The day has finally arrived...I actually have a kid in kindergarten!  Avril was ecstatic for her first day of school.  Due to mom's work circumstances at the time, Avril was added on a special permit to attend Midas Creek Elementary.  Her kindergarten teacher's name is Mrs. Hanna.  Avril picked out her favorite dress to wear to her first day of school, and we styled her hair nice and curly :)

When mommy arrived to pick Avril up from school her first day, I was able to capture a video of her class leaving to reunite with anxiously awaiting parents:


And later that day...
Just practicing using the camera...  some beautiful scenery presented itself so I ran in and grabbed it.  The girls were super excited to take pictures as well.  They pulled out their LeapFrog iPads and captured some photos as well.
I always love seeing rainbows.  They symbolize hope and new beginnings.  Kind of appropriate for Avril's first day of Kindergarten.  Especially considering that Avril's name means new beginnings.  She is my rainbow child.  And McKel's name means a gift from God.  Can't believe how much I love those two.
