For Avril's real birthday, the girls' Jesse came down and took them to Chuck E. Cheese, for a special day. Mom enjoyed taking the night off to spend with herself!
I just wanted to write a few words about Avril for her actual birthday :)
Avril remains true to her reputation, and is a complete and total sweetheart. I have not had a teacher yet fail to tell me how Avril makes their day by giving hugs and sweet, thoughtful artwork and notes. Avril remains the princess girl. She loves to play dress up, loves to nurture and care for others, and loves to please people. She has a passion for learning, and is curious about everything in the world surrounding her. I am amazed at how quickly she picks things up. She is already reading books, and writing sentences all by herself.
Avril is always thoughtful of others, and always wanting to make snack bags and artwork for her loved ones. She even recently announced that she is going to marry a boy at her daycare named Austin. The two have exchanged some adorable artwork in class, and Avril tells me she is in love. It is quite entertaining to hear about.
Avril is so empathetic toward others. If mommy is ever having a bad day, or sad, Avril takes it upon herself to cheer me up. She says it is her magical super power- being able to make people feel better. I think she is right. She is definitely a special girl, and I could not be more proud to call her my daughter. I just want time to slow down, so she can stay my sweet little girl forever. I can't believe I have a six year old! Happy birthday, Avril... and thank you for being the best daughter a mom could ask for. I love you as much as the sky and more....
