"Is It Time for the Baby Wash??!!"

Those kids really do say the darndest things!  McKel and Avril have been beyond excited for the baby to arrive.  They are just giddy with excitement.  McKel will ask several times a day, how many more days until the baby is coming.  I don't have an exact answer, obviously, but tell her it will be about a month... or whatever the time frame.  This is always followed by a, 'but that will take FOREVER!"  The baby is never coming.  That is too long.  Haha, that's how it feels to me too!  This pregnancy will NEVER be over, just make it end!!
We did tell McKel that we would have a special baby shower for the baby, and that was soon!  So she was very much looking forward to this baby shower.  My friend Sara was kind enough to be the hostess for the event, and put together the whole thing at her house.  But back to McKel... the morning of the event, she came in to our bedroom, bursting with excitement.  She said "mommy, mommy, is it time for the baby wash?!!"
Hahaha, we about died laughing.  The baby wash?  "Yeah, mom, are we going to get to wash the baby?"  Oh dear... she must mean the Baby Shower!!  This kept me laughing all day long.  Thank you McKel, for the laughs...

We played some fun baby games and got to visit with family/friends.  I am grateful to Sara for planning this out for me.  It was small but nice.  Can't wait to meet our little babe.
