Lesson learned from this camping trip: plan ahead. Actually that lesson can be applied to most things. We tried to get in to I think 4 different camping sites and were turned down because they were all full. After hours of driving around, we finally found one that had a spot for us. It was a ways away, but actually we had a good time and thought it was a pretty nice camping spot! The girls have been asking and asking and asking when we could go camping so we finally found a night to go. Camping is always lots of fun for the kids and lots of work for the grown ups. The girls had a blast exploring the campsite surroundings while Mike prepared the tent and fire, and mommy tried to find something for us to eat.
