So.... This Happened!

Mike's South Jordan home goes on the market.  Its officially for sale!  I know this house means a lot to Mike, so it is a big deal that he is letting it go.  It is a beautiful home, and should sell quickly.  We are about to make big plans together to buy a home closer to my work.  Exciting, scary changes!!

We are hoping to purchase a duplex (or two) by the U of U as an investment to fix up and save toward our dream home together.  Here is the duplexes we made an offer on:

These duplexes are in a phenomenal location right on the corner of Sunnyside and Foothill, by the University of Utah.  They may not be the most beautiful properties but we plan to change that.  We plan to pull a Chip and Joanna Gaines and fix these up to make them amazing!  We actually put in an offer, knowing that an investor had already made an offer in cash, which meant that our chances were probably not great.  However, the owner, who met with us when we went to look at the properties, said that he decided to go with our offer, simply because he liked us :)  Sometimes it does pay off to be a good person!  Anyway, if Mike's home can sell in 30 days, these will be all ours!
